You know the familiar story.....
You wake up in the morning and struggle to get out of bed.
Then you look in the mirror..... eeeek......
Look how old I look? Look at all my wrinkles?? Gosh, I look really tired.
Then you throw down the coffee to give you a ZING, have a shower which helps, some makeup works a treat, then you are feeling better.
But you still look in the mirror... "Oh I wish I was thinner", "Wish I could fit into that outfit I wore 10 years ago" "Cant believe I look like this"
Then as the day wears on....
You might get a headache
Eat lots of junk because who has time to eat proper meals?
Joints, neck, back aches
Loose energy (especially in the afternoon)
Feel slothy, heavy, maybe even churning in your tummy
And you dream of a life that is easy, carefree and amazing!!
BUT.... thats not your life.
AND your body is giving up on you.
Its just not supporting you anymore.
You get aches & pains
You feel heavy
Have no energy
Get sick all the time
Cant remember the last time you felt fantastic...
YEP....Your body has given up on you.
There are a few reasons why, and the obvious is good diet, sleep and exercise. We all know that.
So why don't we look after ourselves???
Its because we are bought up to focus on how bad we feel.
Think back to how much attention you got when you were feeling sick as a child.
And maybe even now..... You might tell someone you arent well, post something on Facebook and guess what happens....
Everyone sends you lots of beautiful messages of love and support........
What a GREAT reason to stay sick, if subconsciously we know that we get more LOVE when we are SICK than when we are well.
I have even seen clients want to stay sick for Disability Pensions and Financial Support for being sick.
And going to hospital because subconsciously they just want to be cared for.....
So please be careful when you are unwell, that you dont look for sympathy, love and compassion from others.
Give it to yourself and work with your body to find out WHY it is unwell.
This is Part 1 of this series. Shortly I'll be posting more about why our bodies are giving up on us.
Love and kisses
