What a blessing today has been....I have truly seen how magnificent we really are...

Today with a client we went on a beautiful journey of discovery of how amazing our bodies really are...

As we started with the head and moved down to the toes, I am in awe of what the body does and how it loves us, supports us and allows us to experience everything we get to experience here...

Without a body, we couldn't DO anything...

Our bodies take us places...

Our bodies give...

WHY AM I OVERWEIGHT?

Getting the answers to some of life's biggest issues is a large part of what I do...

A recent session I had with myself revealed something that I have been struggling with my whole life...

"Why am I overweight?"

The answer threw me with its simplicity...

"You chose this body, this vehicle in this life, to help you with one of your biggest life lessons...

The lesson of unconditional self love...and acceptance...

You are being chal...

Another reason why the body gives up on us.....

Is LACK OF LOVE

Now you might say "Ive got plenty of love in my life. My family love me. My friends love me. I'm a confident person!"

I dont mean EXTERNAL LOVE...

I mean LOVING YOURSELF.

You see, when we were growing up, we were either told or overheard people being teased "OH you love yourself, your up yourself, you think you are so good!!"

So we learn that its not ok to...

You know the familiar story.....

You wake up in the morning and struggle to get out of bed.

Then you look in the mirror..... eeeek......

Look how old I look? Look at all my wrinkles?? Gosh, I look really tired.

Then you throw down the coffee to give you a ZING, have a shower which helps, some makeup works a treat, then you are feeling better.

But you still look in the mirror... "Oh I wish I was thinner", "Wish I could fit into that outfit I wore 10 years ago" "C...

I have worked with a lovely lady this week who had struggled with her weight her whole life.

She can't ever remember a time that she wasn't overweight. Even her memories as a toddler were of being picked on for being fat.

We talked about a time that she did loose some weight, and she said that even though she looked great, something was missing. She wasn't feeling as good as she thought she would being slim. So the incentive of being slim wasn't much of a draw card.
